Google Maps for Mobile Android Updated to 4.4, Adds Places Integration

Google has updated Maps for Mobile on Android to version 4.4, which adds integration with its Places location-aware search functionality along with other fixes and improvements such as Place Pages that also lists hours of operation for businesses.  The updated application requires Android 1.6 at minimum and is now available via the Android Market.
